Level Up your Coaching Tool Belt:
Short: This session focuses on utilizing Google Keep, Calendar, Wakelet, Rocketbook, & other apps to effectively communicate with and support your teachers, organize your notes and resources, and take control of your schedule.

Detailed Description: As a digital coach it's important to manage your time and schedule to maximize your productivity that best supports your teachers. This session will focus on how to use Google Calendar and Keep allow you to keep your schedule with teachers organized and create checklists/resources to support teachers. I will go over how Rocketbook can be used (along with Drive) to help keep your notes organized for each teacher and how to use Wakelet as a way to collaborate with your teachers creating collections to keep resources all in one space. Attendees will need a laptop for this session.

The Future of Work: Panel Discussion
Grab your lunch and then return to the ballroom to hear a lunchtime discussion. Dr. Gayle Allen will moderate our panel, and they will discuss the future of work.

  • Harry Kennedy, @hakennedy325, is founder and CEO of HAK Electronics. Harry is an engineer turned entrepreneur who started a STEM innovation lab primarily for Dallas students. 
  • Ramy Mahmoud, @ramymahmoud21, is a secondary science teacher and senior lecturer at UT Dallas. 
  • Khadijah Gordy, @KhadijahGordy, is a Digital Learning Specialist and Dynamic Learning Project coach in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. 
  • Tristan Rolater is a 4th year (Senior) at the Plano Academy High School, which is a 9 – 12 PBL campus.
