Putting Digital Citizenship FIRST
By putting our school F.I.R.S.T., we deployed a digital citizenship model that focused on creating the positive digital self-image that every student needs. Through social media platform competitions, restorative discipline and student feedback, we are able to mold our students into the productive citizens - both online and off - with what they need to be to be successful now and in the future. Come see how we fused digital citizenship into our campus culture to create an atmosphere of productive and positive change.

Creating a Culture of Digital Citizenship
Digital citizenship is often discussed at the beginning of the year as a precursor to technology-integrated instruction, but unfortunately, sometimes that’s the only time students hear about it. What might happen if we viewed #digcit not only as foundational but also as a North Star guiding technology-infused pedagogy? In this session, participants will be challenged to expand their thinking about #digcit and consider how doing so can influence instructional practice.
